YOUTH IN THE ARTS

CLASSROOM TRAINING UTILIZING ART with Improvisation Techniques in order to Enhance Communication Skills.  We need to implement more arts programs in schools because:

• The power of Arts are being ignored
• Arts are used at the bare minimum at most schools
• Some even being cut entirely

Arts have many benefits including:

• Being therapeutic
• Providing a voice for more introverted youth
• Detouring "troubled" youth from resorting to negative means of expression
• Helping youth release and process painful, difficult emotions

Art can aid children in creating a positive means of self expression, identity etc.
Arts are very diverse. They come in many different forms including:

• Theatre, (Acting) (performance)
• Writing i.e. Poetry, fiction, journalism, screen-writing
• Film production
• Dance
• Singing
• Improv
• Spoken Word
• Photography
• Music(composition/production), instruments
• Paint, Draw/Sketch, Ceramics, 3d animation, clothing design

At BETM youth will be visiting art galleries, museums, theatres viewing plays and performances, i.e. LINCOLN CENTER & possible corporations.  Unlike other programs we would like youth to get outside their comfort zones and lean toward a more positive message within music. We like our youth to be well-rounded & not afraid to step outside of what they're familiar with. Here at BETM we expose youth to classical genres, rock etc.
Committed to ensuring that every child in every New York City public school has equal access to a well-rounded education of which the Arts are a central component. We work to achieve this mission through school and community programs, professional development, parent engagement, and advocacy. We offer a comprehensive platform that includes model programs in all arts disciplines, professional research, and policy recommendations that inform the conversation about arts education at every level from the classroom to the Capitol.

• CLASSROOM TRAINING W UTILIZING ART with Improvisation Techniques (Enhance Communication Skills)
  
• Technology Skills utilizing Games Applications ( Reading, Math, Language, Mental Stimulation and Relaxation) i.e. Microsoft Mindsweep
   

OUR VISION:  BETM CONSULTANTS we aim to connect youth with positive outlets. With our integration of arts and technology into these youth's lives not only will they be having fun but they also will be learning skills as well. Technology is the way of the future. Here at BETM CONSULTANTS we aim to reach children and teens by using arts, technology and media.
